Jackie Perez (she/her) is a Chicago-bred improviser and comedian and twin sister of fellow Tina, Nicole Perez. She is the co-founder of Las Tinas, a team who performs fully improvised long-form telenovelas. Las Tinas has graced comedy venues throughout the city, including The Laugh Factory, The Annoyance Theater, The Second City TC, and many more. She wrote, performed, and produced web sketches with the iO Comedy Network team Roll Models. She performed at The Comedy Clubhouse with the long-form house team Alotta Mahatma for years, where she was also an ensemble member for One Group Mind’s first Mainstage Improv Ensembles, the One Group Mind Mainstage Showcase featuring the Women of One Group Mind, and with their scripted mainstage theatrical Wishin’ Control, featured as Critics’ Choices in PerformInk. She also coached improv teams at One Group Mind. Jackie was an ensemble member in Season 2 of Generation LatinX at the iO Chicago Theater. Comedy theater has always been a fixture in Jackie’s life. She formally trained at Northern Illinois University Theater Studies program and completed Improv for Actors and the Conservatory Program at The Second City Training Center - Chicago.
